How to take advantage of these army, city, and shield sets:
Drag the New World Armies icon into the "Armies" folder in your Warlords II folder.
Drag the New World Cities icon into the "Cities" folder.
Drag the New World Shields icon into the "Shields" folder.

I stongly recommend that you remove the Spectremia cities and Elemental shields from their folder when using the New World cities and shields. (This is because, being a novice at this, I did not know how to change the resource names in these files. Warlords may get confused and sometimes look at the wrong file if you do not remove the Spectremia files. If anybody can give me a hand with this, maybe I can correct this for the future.)

Open Warlords, click on "Use Random Scenario," and select the New World sets.

Have Fun!

The New World
These sets were created to reflect the diversity of Amerindian culture before 1500. They are by no means an attempt at an accurate portrayal of warfare or history. We took the sets of armies, cities, and shields from a variety of tribes and nations after some research. They reflect Mexican, Southwest, Mississipian, Plains, Northwest, Great Lakes, and Southeast groupings of tribes, many of which were not around at the same time. If you are interested, feel free to email me and I will be glad to give you a reliable bibliography of Native American culture and mythology which will not include any pseudo-religious or politically slanted propaganda.

The cities are based on real archeaological study, and represent the buildings of Pueblo Bonito of Chaco Canyon, Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde, Moundville in Alabama and Etowah in Georgia, Tenochtitlan near Mexico City, Kelso near Syracuse, New York, and several reconstructions of Plains and Southeast lodges.

All normal human armies have a strength between 2 and 4. Magical armies have strengths of 4 to 6, and mythic armies have strengths of 6 and above. I tried to make the human armies more usable, and to use the amazing strength of 7+ sparingly. Feel free to modify the attributes as you see fit, using ResEdit or War Correspondent.

Also feel free to distribute these sets to other Mac Warlords users. These armies, cities, and shield sets may not be sold or distributed for profit.
